Media Advisory: Premier to Host 2014 Athletic Awards
The Honourable Tom Marshall, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will host the 2014 Premier’s Athletic Awards tomorrow (Wednesday, May 28) at 4:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, St. John’s.
The Premier’s Athletic Awards Program, established in 2005, recognizes athletic excellence and provides grants to assist young athletes with the costs of training and competition at the elite level.
The Honourable Sandy Collins, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, will be the Master of Ceremonies at this year’s event.
