Media Advisory: Premier to Speak at Multi-Faith Prayer Breakfast

The Honourable Tom Marshall, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will speak at a Multi-Faith Prayer breakfast on Tuesday, May 20 beginning at 8:30 a.m. The event will take place in West Block cafeteria, Confederation Building, St. John’s.

The breakfast is sponsored by the St. John’s and Area Council of Churches, in consultation with the Religious Social Action Coalition. The purpose of this breakfast is to receive prayers offered by several religious communities of our province: Jewish, Christian, Muslim and Hindu. There will also be a brief presentation on poverty by the Religious Social Action Coalition.
