Premier and Cabinet Hold Successful Meetings in Corner Brook
The Honourable Tom Marshall, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, and his Cabinet concluded three days of successful meetings in Corner Brook this week, covering a range of topics, including the upcoming legislative session, and making two important announcements with ministers while in the west coast city.
“It is always with great pride that I join my Cabinet colleagues
in this beautiful area of our province. These meetings provide a valuable
opportunity for each of us to meet and engage directly with people in the
Corner Brook region. We have had productive meetings this week to discuss
among other things, preparations for the upcoming session of the House of
Assembly and the provincial budget. We were also able to make important
announcements regarding Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Limited, and a new
multi-purpose arts facility for the area, reflecting our continued focus on
providing economic and social programs and services to benefit our
communities and residents.”
