Media Advisory: Premier to Address Developments in Labrador West Mining Industry
The Honourable Tom Marshall, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, is meeting with union and town officials in Wabush tomorrow (Thursday, February 13) to discuss the announcement by Cliffs Natural Resources to idle its mining and processing operations at the Wabush Scully Iron Ore Mine.
The Premier will be available to media in the Wabush Hotel Conference Room at 2:00 p.m. Premier Marshall will be joined by the Honourable Derrick Dalley, Minister of Natural Resources, and the Honourable Nick McGrath, Minister Responsible for Labrador and Aboriginal Affairs.
