Media Advisory: Minister to Speak at Volunteer Hall of Fame Event

The Honourable Steve Kent, Acting Minister Responsible for the Office of Public Engagement, will bring greetings at the call for nominations for this year’s Newfoundland and Labrador Volunteer Hall of Fame tomorrow (Thursday, January 16).

The event begins at 3:00 p.m. in the main foyer, East Block, Confederation Building.

Launched in 2012 by the Provincial Council of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, the Newfoundland and Labrador Volunteer Hall of Fame honours individuals and organizations that make long-standing volunteer contributions to their community.
