Media Advisory: Minister Granter to Attend Tree Planting Ceremony

The Honourable Vaughn Granter, Minister of Environment and Conservation, will attend a tree planting ceremony tomorrow (Wednesday, September 24) to commemorate National Tree Day. The event will take place at 11:30 a.m. at Margaret Bowater Park, Corner Brook.

The National Tree Day celebration is being held as part of National Forest Week, September 21-27. Minister Granter will be joined by Grade 5 students and teachers from the Humber Valley-Bay of Islands area.
