Voter Information Letters Being Distributed
for the Virginia Waters By-Election

Electors in the District of Virginia Waters are asked to watch their mail for Voter Information Letters being circulated by Elections Newfoundland and Labrador.

These letters will be sent to every elector who is currently on the voters list for the Virginia Waters district. The letters outline voting options available to electors and critical contact information.

If an elector is not currently on the voters list, there is still time to register. The deadline for additions to the voters list for the by-election is 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2014. Electors are still able to vote at the polling stations if they are not on the voters list, but will have to produce appropriate identification and swear an oath.

Advance Poll day is Wednesday, April 2, 2014, from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. By-Election day is Wednesday, April 9, 2014, from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
