Measuring High School Student Performance
High School Transcripts Released
High school transcripts, including final marks indicating how students performed during the school year, have been mailed to students throughout the province.
“We are pleased with the results from this year’s public exam courses, with the trend showing gradual improvement in most subject areas over the years. It is significant to note as well that more of our students are continuing to graduate with honours or academic diplomas as opposed to general diplomas. This year, almost 72 per cent of graduating students achieved honours or academic diplomas, an increase of almost two per cent from last year. This is important, as it enables our young people to pursue a wide range of post-secondary opportunities.”
- The Honourable Darin King, Minister of Education
