A Stronger Workforce for Sustainable Communities

Provincial Government Highlights Success of Skills Training Programs

Over 7,300 individuals across Newfoundland and Labrador participated in skills training programs in 2014, including skills development, apprentice supports, employment development supports and training supports for persons with disabilities.

Since 2005, the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador has invested more than $282 million to freeze tuition. Combined with the best student aid program in Canada, these investments are making Newfoundland and Labrador students the envy of the country.
