Tourism Ad Campaign Wins Big at 2012 Adrian Awards
The Provincial Government’s Find Yourself advertising campaign won nine awards in three categories at the 2012 Adrian Awards, sponsored by Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International.
“This is a tremendous honor, and one that speaks to the quality of a campaign that is as unique, clever, and as exotic as the place it promotes,” said the Honourable Terry French, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation. “Our Find Yourself campaign has now won a grand total of 183 regional, national, and international awards to date; and in the process has become one of the most acclaimed tourism campaigns in the world. I want to take this opportunity to thank the dedicated staff in my department for all their hard work on this campaign through the years, and to also recognize the ongoing creative contributions of local advertising firm Target, which has partnered with us on this tremendously successful campaign since its launch in 2006.”
The Adrian Awards honour creative talent and best practices in hospitality, travel and tourism marketing and recognize innovative and successful approaches to advertising, public relations, and web marketing. The nine awards won by the Find Yourself campaign are listed in the backgrounder below.
