Media Advisory: Minister to Visit Fire and Emergency Services
Training School in Central Newfoundland

The Honourable Kevin O’Brien, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Minister Responsible for Fire and Emergency Services - Newfoundland and Labrador, will be in Grand Falls-Windsor tomorrow (Thursday, May 30), to visit firefighters and participants of the ongoing Fire and Emergency Services Training School.

Minister O’Brien will receive a tour and demonstration at the Grand Falls-Windsor fire training grounds, located on New Bay Road, at 4:30 p.m.

Approximately 335 firefighters and other emergency responders from throughout the province have gathered in Grand Falls-Windsor for the training school, which began on May 25 and runs until May 31.
