Media Advisory: Minister to Announce Research and Development Funding for Mining Projects

The Honourable Keith Hutchings, Minister of Innovation, Business and Rural Development, will make an announcement on funding research and development initiatives in support of mining tomorrow (Friday, June 7). Minister Hutchings will be joined by Glenn Janes, Chief Executive Officer of the Research and Development Corporation.

The announcement will take place at 1:00 p.m. at the Baie Vista in Baie Verte.

The Research and Development Corporation is a provincial Crown corporation responsible for improving Newfoundland and Labrador’s R&D performance. RDC works with R&D stakeholders including business, academia and government agencies and departments.
