Media Advisory: Seniors of Distinction Awards Presentation

Sandy Collins, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health and Community Services and Minister Responsible for Aging and Seniors, and, David Brazil, MHA for Conception Bay East-Bell Island, will present the fifth annual Seniors of Distinction Awards tomorrow (Wednesday, October 2). The ceremony will take place at 10:30 a.m. at the Capital Hotel in St. John’s.

This year, five deserving individuals throughout Newfoundland and Labrador are being recognized for their significant contributions to their communities and the province. The names of this year’s recipients were announced June 28, 2013.
