Notice of Special Ballot Deadlines – Cartwright-L’Anse au Clair By-Election

Elections Newfoundland and Labrador would like to notify the residents of Cartwright-L’Anse au Clair that time is quickly running out to apply to vote by Special Ballot.

The deadline to apply for a Special Ballot kit is 6:00 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, June 18).

Electors have two options for returning their completed Special Ballot kits:

1. Return to the district Returning Office. The deadline for receipt of completed Special Ballot kits at the district Returning Office is 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2013.
2. Return to Elections Newfoundland and Labrador’s head office. The deadline for receipt of completed Special Ballot kits at Elections Newfoundland and Labrador’s head office (39 Hallett Crescent, St. John’s) is 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2013.

To obtain a Special Ballot application, visit www.elections.gov.nl.ca, call Elections Newfoundland and Labrador at 1-877-729-7987 (toll-free), or call the district Returning Office at 960-1008.
