Public Advisory: Placentia Lift Bridge to be Temporarily Closed at Night

The Department of Transportation and Works advises that the Sir Ambrose Shea Lift Bridge in Placentia will be closed to vehicle traffic from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. each night from November 28 to December 8 inclusive.

The closures are necessary to complete the repairs and enhancements that are being made to the bridge. The contractor will accommodate emergency vehicles when notified by the appropriate authorities to do so.
