Public Advisory: Deadline for Acceptance of Freight for Labrador Marine Service

The Department of Transportation and Works advises that the deadline for acceptance of freight, for guaranteed delivery this shipping season, at all terminals of the Labrador Marine Service (Lewisporte, Happy valley-Goose Bay, and all points north to Nain) is 4:30 p.m., Friday, November 16.

The shipment of goods to the Labrador north coast will continue for as long as ice and weather conditions allow but delivery of freight received after this date cannot be guaranteed.

This deadline also applies to all personal freight transported via the MV Astron in lieu of service by the MV Northern Ranger.
