Public Advisory: Bridge Repairs Complete in English Harbour East

Repairs to the bridge in English Harbour East are now complete and the 20 tonne load capacity is restored.

The bridge is now open to heavy traffic including school buses and emergency vehicles.

A weight restriction of 2.5 tonnes had been put in place on October 12 to accommodate necessary repairs.

The Department of Transportation and Works has scheduled this bridge for replacement in 2013.
