Public Advisory: MV Beaumont Hamel Returns to Service

The Department of Transportation and Works advises that the MV Beaumont Hamel will return to service for the community of Bell Island as of this evening.

The vessel underwent repairs to a seal in one of its thrusters, which corrected an issue with oil pressure.

The regular schedule for ferry service to and from Bell Island will resume as soon as the MV Beaumont Hamel arrives at the terminal in Portugal Cove - St. Phillips.
