Public Advisory: Update Regarding Labrador Ferry Service

The Department of Transportation and Works advises that the MV Northern Ranger will not depart from Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Friday, June 8, to provide passenger and freight service. The vessel is still undergoing refit. An update regarding departure will be provided as soon as the refit is complete.

Information on schedules and bookings can be obtained by phoning CAI Nunatsiavut Marine Inc. at 1-877-896-7075 within Canada or 1-506-858-9963 internationally, or by visiting www.labradorferry.ca .

Provincial ferry schedules and rate information are available at: www.tw.gov.nl.ca/ferryservices/schedules/index.html.

The marine terminal in Happy Valley-Goose Bay began accepting freight for the ferry service provided by the MV Northern Ranger on June 6.
