Public Advisory: MV Sir Robert Bond Ferry Service
to Conclude Subject to Ice Conditions

The Department of Transportation and Works wishes to advise that the MV Sir Robert Bond may conclude its service between Corner Brook and Blanc Sablon this week subject to ice conditions in the Strait of Belle Isle. This service resumed on a temporary basis to support the MV Apollo, which had been encountering heavy ice while carrying out its St. Barbe to Blanc Sablon service. Ice conditions have been improving, and as a result, the MV Sir Robert Bond may conclude service as early as Wednesday, March 14.

Users of the MV Sir Robert Bond can contact CAI Nunatsiavut Marine Inc. at 1-877-896-7075 within Canada, or 1-506-858-9963 internationally, or visit www.labradorferry.ca for further information about the status of the service between Corner Brook and Blanc Sablon.

Users of the MV Apollo can call 1-866-535-2567 or visit www.labradormarine.com to get information about the service between St. Barbe to Blanc Sablon.

The Department of Transportation and Works will issue a public advisory to notify of the conclusion of the service when it takes place.
