VolleyFest 2012, Largest School-based Volleyball Tournament in Canada

The Newfoundland and Labrador Volleyball Association will be hosting the Max: Art/Athletics/Wellness VolleyFest 2012 during October 26 and 27 in St. John’s and vicinity. VolleyFest will officially launch the volleyball season in Newfoundland and Labrador.

VolleyFest 2012 is the largest school-based volleyball tournament in Canada with a record 181 teams competing in 11 divisions. The tournament will take place on 33 courts in St. John’s and Mount Pearl with the primary venues in the NL Sports Centre for junior high divisions and the Field House for senior high divisions. Both venues house six courts. VolleyFest will have over 2,300 athletes, 350 coaches, 80 officials and 24 conveners throughout the event.
