The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador:

NLBA Basketball Learn to Train Coaching Clinic

The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association will hold a Learn to Train Coaching Course on the October 19 – 21 weekend at the NL Sports Centre in St. John’s. The course will run from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday; 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday; and 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Sunday.

This course is the replacement for the old Technical I and includes both Technical and Theory Components under the National Coaching Certification Program. The course will consist of two classroom sessions and two on court sessions.

The cost for registration is $125.00 and the deadline to register is October 12. Coaches must be 16 years of age or older to be eligible to register.
