Provincial Basketball Teams at Nationals

The Provincial Midget (U15) Girls’ team is two and one at the nationals in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Yesterday the NL team was defeated by British Columbia 58 to 40. Kelsey Moore was the top NL scorer of this game with 18 points. The NL team plays Saskatchewan at 4:15 p.m. today, NL time.

The Juvenile (U17) Girls’ was defeated by Nova Scotia yesterday 88 to 64 giving them a one and two standing; Sydney Ezekiel was the top scorer with 17 points. The NL team faces Manitoba at 4:15 p.m. NL time today.
