Media Advisory: Minister to Speak at Opening of
Freshwater Suzuki Salmon Festival

The Honourable Derrick Dalley, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, will be in Grand Falls-Windsor tonight (Thursday, July 12) to speak at the Freshwater Suzuki Salmon Festival’s salmon dinner. The event, which will officially open the festival, takes place at the Joe Byrne Memorial Arena beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Also in attendance are the Honourable Susan Sullivan, Minister of Health and Community Services, the Honourable Tom Marshall, Minister of Finance, the Honourable Kevin O’Brien, Minister of Municipal Affairs, the Honourable Charlene Johnson, Minister of Child, Youth, and Family Services, Tony Cornect, MHA for Port au Port, and Vaughn Granter, MHA for Humber West.
