Ladies Canada Games Hoop Teams in Florida

The Ladies Canada Games Basketball program will be travelling to Orlando, Florida, Wednesday, May 9, to compete in the AAU Girls Basketball Spring Fling II Tournament. The program will be travelling with 20 athletes and entering two teams into the competition.

Athletes travelling to the competition include, Sara Tobin, Sydney VanDeWeil, Kelsey McGrath, Kayla Thompson, Tiffany Morgan, Breena Power, Geana George, Kelsey Moore, Kathleen Dyer, Julie Croucher, Rosie Stanoev, Jane Baird and Maria Carroll of St. John’s, Stacey Leawood, Brooklyn Short, Brittany Rose, Morgan Baker-Tucker and Jennifer MacDonald of Mount. Pearl, Lindsey Garland of CBS and Janet Lee of the Goulds. Coaches accommodating the teams include Doug Partridge, Geoff Moore, Jason Thompson and Judy Byrne.

Play commences Friday morning with the championship game slated for Sunday afternoon.
