Provincial D-1 Hoop Championships to Take Place This Weekend

The Division I Men’s and Women’s Molson Provincial Championships will take place this weekend April 20-22 at Laval High School in Placentia.

Seven teams are entered in the event including, Nova Physio, Pennecon Energy, SNC and Bruff’s Cavs in the men’s division while the ladies will consist of Bay Ladies, Kennedy’s Pharmachoice and Extreme Pita.

Play will commence Friday afternoon and will conclude with the finals set for Sunday afternoon. For a complete list of all teams and schedules please visit the NLBA website at www.nlba.nf.ca or contact the provincial office at 576-0247.
