Volleyball Championships, Largest in Canada for the second year!

The Newfoundland and Labrador Volleyball Association will have 106 teams take part in the Molson Senior Provincial Volleyball Championships this weekend, March 16-17. Volleyball Canada has confirmed that this is the largest senior tournament in Canada for the second year! There will be over 2,000 athletes/ coaches/ officials and conveners taking part in 11 divisions consisting of male and female divisions A-B-C.

The tournament will begin on Friday afternoon with the championship games on Saturday. The divisions will take place on 20 volleyball courts from Grand Falls-Windsor to Glovertown with the main concentration in Gander. After the completion of the tournament the annual Molson Senior Provincial Party will take place in the 2nd Floor Banquet Room of Hotel Gander.
