Public Advisory: Government Experiencing Email Issues

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador would like to inform the public that as a result of the circulation of a spam email, there is a temporary restriction on the ability of government employees to send email to certain accounts external to government.

The Office of the Chief Information Officer will continue to monitor network security, is working to resolve the issue, and will restore full service as soon as possible.

The Provincial Government would like to apologize for any inconvenience which may arise as a result of this service interruption. Further updates will be forthcoming.
