Office of the Citizens’ Representative - Information and Intake Sessions

The Citizens’ Representative, Barry Fleming, Q.C., will be conducting information and intake sessions in Corner Brook, Port aux Basques and Burgeo during the week of September 24 -28. Mr. Fleming will also be guest speaker at Western Health’s Annual General Meeting being held in Burgeo, on September 27.

Mr. Fleming will be available for appointments as follows:

• Corner Brook – September 24 and 25 - 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., at the Glynmill Inn, 1 Cobb Lane.
• Port aux Basques – September 26 – 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Hotel Port aux Basques, 2 Grand Bay Road.
• Burgeo – September 27 - 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Town Council Office, 42 Reach Road.

The Citizens’ Representative is an Officer of the House of Assembly and is independent of both the political process and government administration. The office can investigate and resolve complaints about provincial government departments and agencies, and recommend corrective action. Services are free and confidential.
