Media Advisory: Minister to Hold News Conference on Legislation Dealing with Land
Requirements and Financing for Muskrat Falls

The Honourable Jerome Kennedy, Minister of Natural Resources, will hold a news conference today (Tuesday, December 18) to discuss legislation to be introduced in the House of Assembly related to land and financial requirements for the Muskrat Falls hydroelectric development.

A technical briefing for media on the commercial agreement signed between Nalcor Energy and Emera Inc. will also take place at 11:00 a.m. in the Media Centre, Ground Floor, East Block, Confederation Building.

Media will be provided with a technical briefing on the legislation at 11:30 a.m. in the Media Centre.

The news conference will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the Media Centre.
