Media Advisory: Minister to Attend Federal/Provincial/Territorial Conferences for Energy and Mines and Agriculture

The Honourable Jerome Kennedy, Minister of Natural Resources and Minister Responsible for the Forestry and Agrifoods Agency, will attend Federal/Provincial/Territorial Ministers conferences for Energy and Mines, and Agriculture during the week of September 10-14.

The Energy and Mines Ministers Conference (EMMC) will be held September 10-11 at the Delta Prince Edward Hotel in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Topics to be discussed include oil and gas, renewable energy, innovation, and geoscience.

The Agriculture Ministers Conference will be held September 12-14 at the Westmark Whitehorse Hotel in Whitehorse, Yukon. The main topic to be discussed is the new Growing Forward 2 framework. The conference will also include roundtable discussions with the Canadian Federation of Agriculture, as well as with representatives of the food processing sector.
