Media Advisory: Minister to Announce Funding for the Isles of Notre Dame

The Honourable Kevin O’Brien, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Minister Responsible for Fire and Emergency Services, will be in Summerford tomorrow (Friday, November 23) to announce firefighting equipment funding for the area. Minister O’Brien will be joined by the Honourable Derrick Dalley, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture and MHA for the Isles of Notre Dame, and community leaders for the announcement.

The event gets underway at 11:00 a.m., at the Summerford Community Centre, Main Road, Summerford on New World Island.
