Media Advisory: Minister and Partners to Announce Fire Prevention Campaign

The Honourable Kevin O’Brien, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Minister Responsible for Fire and Emergency Services – Newfoundland and Labrador will announce a partnership initiative this afternoon (Wednesday, October 10) for a province-wide fire prevention campaign. Minister O’Brien will be joined by Bill Adams, Vice President - Atlantic with the Insurance Bureau of Canada, and Vince MacKenzie, President of the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Fire Services.

The event will get underway at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Philips fire hall, 1119 Thorburn Road, Portugal Cove-St. Philips.
