Media Advisory: Premier and Minister to Participate in Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador Convention
The Honourable Kathy Dunderdale, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Honourable Kevin O’Brien, Minister of Municipal Affairs, will participate in the 62nd annual Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador Convention and Trade Show. The convention takes place from October 4 to 6 in Gander.
Premier Dunderdale will be the guest speaker and present long service awards at the appreciation banquet on Saturday, October 6, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Gander Community Centre.
Minister O’Brien will provide remarks at the opening ceremonies tomorrow (Thursday, October 4) at 6:30 p.m. at the Arts and Culture Centre. The minister will also participate in the Tidy Towns awards ceremony and luncheon at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 5, at Hotel Gander.
Several other cabinet ministers will also attend various sessions during the three-day convention.
