Media Advisory: Minister to Address Opening Ceremonies of
National Fire Chiefs Meetings

The Honourable Kevin O’Brien, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Minister Responsible for Fire and Emergency Services, will speak this weekend to the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs (CAFC) Convention, hosted this year by the St. John’s Regional Fire Department.

The CAFC is the national public service association dedicated to reducing the loss of life and property from fire, and advancing the science and technology of the Fire and Emergency Service in Canada.

Minister O’Brien will address the delegates and partners Sunday, September 23, at The Rooms, 9 Bonaventure Avenue. The opening ceremonies will get underway at 7:00 p.m.
