Media Advisory: Minister to Speak at Opening of Ocean Innovation 2012

The Honourable Keith Hutchings, Minister of Innovation, Business and Rural Development, is speaking at the opening ceremonies of Ocean Innovation 2012, on Monday, October 22, at 8:00 a.m. at the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland, St. John’s.

The conference theme is Extreme Survival: Innovations in Training, Knowledge and Equipment and is expected to attract 200-250 national and international delegates. It is an initiative of the Marine Institute of Memorial University, in collaboration with the International Association for Safety and Survival Training.
