Media Advisory: Minister to Announce Investment in Important Health Related Research

The Honourable Keith Hutchings, Minister of Innovation, Business and Rural Development and Minister Responsible for the Research & Development Corporation, will announce an investment tomorrow (Wednesday, March 28) that advances important genetics research in Newfoundland and Labrador. The event will take place at 10:30 a.m. in the Genesis Centre Boardroom, third floor, Bruneau Centre for Research and Innovation, St. John’s Campus, Memorial University.

Don Belanger, Executive, Program Delivery and Operations, Research & Development Corporation; Dr. Gary Kachanoski, President, Vice-Chancellor, Memorial University; and Dr. Terry-Lynn Young, Associate Professor, Discipline of Genetics, Faculty of Medicine, Memorial University, will also participate in the announcement.
