Media Advisory: Minister to Make Two Health Care Announcements in Corner Brook

The Honourable Susan Sullivan, Minister of Health and Community Services, will make two announcements in Corner Brook on Monday, July 23.

At 9:00 a.m., Minister Sullivan will be joined by the Honourable Tom Marshall, Minister of Finance and MHA for Humber East; Vaughn Granter, MHA for Humber West; and, Dr. Ken Jenkins, Vice President, Medical Services, Western Health, for a funding announcement. The event will take place at the Donor Wall, 1st Floor, Western Regional Memorial Hospital.

At 11:00 a.m., Minister Sullivan will launch the new Newfoundland and Labrador Colon Cancer Screening Program. The announcement will take place in the AV Theatre, 2nd floor, Western Memorial Regional Hospital.

Minister Sullivan will be joined for this announcement by Vickie Kaminski, President and CEO, Eastern Health; Dr. Ken Jenkins, Vice President, Medical Services, Western Health; Katherine Chubbs, Vice President, Cancer Care, Eastern Health; Dr. Jerry McGrath, Medical Director, Newfoundland and Labrador Colon Cancer Screening Program, Eastern Health; Cindy Davis, Vice President, Patient Services, Western Health; the Honourable Tom Marshall, Minister of Finance and MHA for Humber East; and, Vaughn Granter, MHA for Humber West.
