Media Advisory: Minister to Make Health Care Funding Announcements
in Springdale and Baie Verte

The Honourable Susan Sullivan, Minister of Health and Community Services, will make funding announcements in the communities of Springdale and Baie Verte tomorrow (Tuesday, July 17). Minister Sullivan will be joined by Karen McGrath, CEO of Central Health, and Kevin Pollard, MHA for Baie Verte-Springdale.

The event in Springdale will take place at the Valley Vista Senior Citizens’ Complex at 12:00 p.m. Following the announcement Minister Sullivan will view the location of the new health care facility planned for Springdale.

The event in Baie Verte will take place at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre at 3:00 p.m. Following the announcement Minister Sullivan will participate in a sod-turning ceremony at the site of the future Wander Garden adjacent to the health centre.
