Media Advisory: Ministers to Break Ground for the Paradise Youth Treatment Centre
The Honourable Susan Sullivan, Minister of Health and Community Services, along with the Honourable Tom Hedderson, Minister of Transportation and Works, and the Honourable Paul Davis, Minister of Service NL and MHA for Topsail, will take part in a groundbreaking ceremony on the site of the new treatment facility for youth with complex mental health needs on Monday, May 28, at 11:30 a.m. in Paradise.
Also joining the ministers will be Steve Kent, MHA for Mount Pearl North; David Brazil, MHA for Conception Bay East - Bell Island; Beverley Clarke, Vice President, Eastern Health; and, Ralph Wiseman, Mayor of Paradise.
The event will take place at the site of the new treatment centre which is located at the former Paradise Elementary School site off Paradise Road.
Media are advised to wear appropriate footwear.
