Media Advisory: Minister to Celebrate World Oceans Day at the Marine Institute

The Honourable Darin King, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, will join partners and guests at a free-admission family day, hosted at the Marine Institute in recognition of 2012 World Oceans Day tomorrow (Saturday, June 9).

Minister King will bring greetings in the main foyer of the Marine Institute, 155 Ridge Road, St. John’s, at 10:30 a.m. Entertainment, demonstrations, information booths and refreshments for children will be provided in the gymnasium and lecture hall immediately following.
