Media Advisory: Minister to Highlight Fisheries Research Funding Aboard RV Celtic Explorer

The Honourable Darin King, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, will be joined by representatives from the Marine Institute of Memorial University and the Centre for Fisheries Ecosystems Research to highlight Budget 2012 funding in support of fisheries research.

Minister King and invited guests will also tour the RV Celtic Explorer, a research vessel chartered from the Marine Institute of Ireland. The announcement and tour will take place at 12:00 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday, June 2) at Pier 17b on Harbour Drive, St. Johns.
