Media Advisory: Minister to Attend Atlantic Council of
Fisheries and Aquaculture Ministers Conference

The Honourable Darin King, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, will join his intra-provincial colleagues for the Atlantic Council of Fisheries and Aquaculture Ministers conference in Halifax tomorrow (Friday, March 9).

The conference will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Halifax Airport, 200 Pratt and Whitney Drive, Enfield, Nova Scotia, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Ministers will discuss a number of issues common among provinces, including fish health initiatives, the export of edible seal products to China and the 2012 lobster fishery.
