Media Advisory: Minister to Launch Annual Purple Ribbon Campaign

The Honourable Charlene Johnson, Minister Responsible for the Status of Women and lead Minister for the Violence Prevention Initiative, will launch the third annual Purple Ribbon Campaign on Monday, November 26. The event will take place in the lobby of West Block, Confederation Building, at 9:00 a.m.

Other Violence Prevention Initiative ministers and community partners will also be in attendance.

Since 2010, the Purple Ribbon Campaign has helped increase awareness and education on violence against women in Newfoundland and Labrador.
