Media Advisory: Premier to Participate in CBS Stadium Sod-Turning
The Honourable Kathy Dunderdale, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will attend the official sod-turning ceremony for the new Conception Bay South stadium today (Thursday, October 25) on Legion Road, Kelligrews.
Premier Dunderdale will be joined by the Honourable Kevin O’Brien, Minister of Municipal Affairs; the Honourable Terry French, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation and MHA for Conception Bay South; the Honourable Paul Davis, Minister of Transportation and Works and MHA for Topsail; and, the Honourable Tom Hedderson, Minister of Environment and Conservation and MHA for Harbour Main.
The event begins at 2:00 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the speaking engagement associated with the sod-turning will be moved to the Robert French Memorial Stadium, 70 Legion Road, prior to the sod-turning.
