Premier Announces New Communications Director

The Honourable Kathy Dunderdale, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, today announced the appointment of Lynn Hammond as Director of Communications in the Premier’s Office.

“Ms. Hammond brings a wealth of experience to the position of communications director in the Office of the Premier,” said Premier Dunderdale. “Her years of service in the public sector in areas of strategic communications will serve her well as she takes on this new role.”

Ms. Hammond has successfully filled senior communications roles with the Provincial Government in Executive Council, and the Departments of Education and Municipal and Provincial Affairs. She most recently lectured at Acadia University in the area of Business Communications.

This appointment is effective immediately.
