to host a Diamond Jubilee Garden Party at Government House

Tomorrow (Wednesday, July 25) from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Their Honours the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie invite the general public to attend a Diamond Jubilee Garden Party at Government House.

Featuring performances by the Church Lads’ Brigade Band, the Signal Hill Tattoo, Wonderbolt Circus, and the Celtic Fiddlers, an appearance by the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary’s Mounted Unit, and a surprise from members of the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra. This year’s Garden Party is being held to honour the 60th Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as Sovereign. Light refreshments will be served by local Girl Guides.
