Council of Atlantic Premiers to meet in PEI on June 6, 2012

Premier Robert Ghiz will host the 21st session of the Council of Atlantic Premiers in Prince Edward Island on June 6. Premiers David Alward, Kathy Dunderdale and Darrell Dexter will attend. During the meeting, premiers will discuss regional and national issues of strategic importance to the four provinces.

Location/Time
Premiers will meet on June 6 at Rodd Brudenell River Resort located at Brudenell, Prince Edward Island.

Information for Media
Media will be provided with a photo opportunity with premiers at 8:40 a.m. prior to the beginning of the meeting. Photo journalists are requested to be available beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the reception area outside the Montague Room.

A media conference will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the Brudenell/Dundarave Rooms in the Clubhouse building. Simultaneous interpretation services will be provided during the media conference.

Media releases issued from the meeting will be distributed by each province’s communications office following the meeting and will be accessible at www.cap-cpma.ca . Please note that:
