Media Advisory: Minister to Speak at Investiture and Life-Saving Awards Dinner

The Honourable Nick McGrath, Minister Responsible for the Volunteer and Non-Profit Sector, will speak at the 2012 St. John Ambulance Investiture and Life-Saving Awards Dinner today (Thursday, May 31) at 7:30 p.m. at the Capital Hotel, Kenmount Road, St. John’s.

The Order of St. John bestows life-saving awards to individuals who have saved or attempted to save a life, regardless of the risk, through the application of first aid skills.
