Media Advisory: Premier Tables Correspondence with DND Minister

The Honourable Kathy Dunderdale, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, today tabled in the House of Assembly a package of correspondence between the Provincial Government and the Federal Minister of National Defence Peter McKay regarding Search and Rescue efforts in the search for Burton Winters in Makkovik. A timeline prepared by the RCMP and the Government of NL relating to the search efforts was also tabled.
